Investorand Omani entrepreneur.
An engineer by training. I began in infrastructure and national planning, then moved into founding and investing. Today I own companies across several sectors. I join each one to set the direction and choose who leads, then I delegate and stay close to the major decisions. This page is about the person and how he decides.

I started as a civil engineer on infrastructure projects in Muscat, where I learned the first lesson that never left me: a project that looks good on paper collapses in execution unless there is a system behind it and people who are held to account. I then moved into national planning and took part in building the National Spatial Strategy, where I learned to read the state and the market as one system, with inputs, stages and outcomes.
After that I returned to the private sector, first through the family group, then through my own ventures. That is where my first rule took shape: a business that needs me to run it is not a business but a job. My role became to set the direction and the system, choose who leads, then delegate and stay close to the major decisions.
The spread across sectors was never a plan. It was the result of choosing people before sectors. When you start with the person, you find yourself in workspaces, agriculture, real estate, contracting and venture capital, and you gain something that a lifetime in one sector never gives: the ability to compare different business models and to recognise what repeats in all of them.
Each stage added a lens. Engineering taught me systems, planning taught me to read the bigger picture, and finance taught me to judge a decision by its outcome.

The engineer
Muscat MunicipalityProjects engineer in infrastructure and governance. I represented the owner’s interest before international consultants and contractors across a national portfolio of projects, and I was the link with the State Audit Institution, the Municipal Council and the Shura Council. This is where I learned that transparency is not a slogan but a daily procedure.

The planner
Secretariat of the Supreme Council for PlanningI helped coordinate the preparation of the National Spatial Strategy across the Sultanate and its governorates, linking transport, the economy and sustainability in a single framework serving Oman Vision 2040. I managed the work of international consultancies and led national tours and workshops to reconcile the interests of government bodies and the private sector through to adoption.

The group
Al Siyabi InternationalDirector and board member of the family group. I took part in setting and executing its plans, launched public-private partnerships with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources on real estate projects, and oversaw the performance of subsidiaries in property and tourism, including sales and marketing for Al Wafa District in Sultan Haitham City and the Marsa Barka project, alongside running a car rental agency.

The founder
My own venturesI founded and co-founded entities in workspaces, real estate, leisure and engineering consultancy, and took full responsibility for their financial cycle: structuring capital between equity and financing without overexposure, directing capital expenditure, and watching cash flow and the health of the balance sheet. Then I handed operations to the people I had chosen and stayed close to the major decisions.

The investor
The next portfolioI am now preparing to launch an investment portfolio that brings together everything the previous stations taught me: selection by the measure of people, governance by system, and entities that can compound because they do not depend on one person. Alongside it, I invest as a limited partner in venture capital, in the public market and in international real estate.
In some I founded and supervise. In some I take part and steer. In some I put in my capital and leave the leadership to those who know more. This is what I actually do in each one.

A business center offering offices, meeting rooms and shared workspace in Muscat.
Co-founder and strategic partnerVisitI co-founded the center and directed its capital investment from launch, and I set the leasing policy that kept occupancy high and operations stable in the hands of its team. Today I follow the results and the major decisions, and I do not attend the daily running.
Businesses and commercial venturesGreen Gardens Smart Agriculture
Green GardensDesign and delivery of hydroponic farming projects and related products.
Founder and general supervisorIn formationVisitI set the business model and the structure from the start, choose the founding team and technical partners, and supervise the first phase until the entity settles and becomes ready to delegate.
Businesses and commercial venturesPrime Gate Realty
A brokerage focused on selling property in integrated tourism complexes to international buyers.
Founder and general supervisorIn formationVisitI build the positioning and the partnerships with developers, define the standards for what we sell and to whom, and supervise the formation until it runs with its own team.
Sustainability is the purpose, and selection is its instrument. Each of these four principles grows from that root.
The person before the number
Numbers describe what has passed. The person is who makes what comes next. I start with the person, and my measure has two parts and no third: integrity and competence.
You will know how I decide, and what I turn down, before you invest with me.
